We’ve just seen a huge new welcome offer rolled out on United’s most popular business credit card. Given the reasonable annual fee and huge bonus, this is an ideal time to apply.

United Business Card offering 100K bonus miles & more

For applications through Wednesday, November 5, 2025, The New United℠ Business Card is offering a limited time welcome bonus of 100,000 MileagePlus bonus miles plus 2,000 Premier Qualifying Points (PQPs) after spending $5,000 within the first three months.

Personally, I value United miles at 1.1 cents each, so to me, that bonus miles are worth $1,100. That doesn’t include the value of the PQPs, which will be worth different amounts to different people, depending on whether you’re pursuing elite status.

Who is eligible for the United Business Card?

Who is eligible for the welcome bonus on the United Business Card? While Chase and United have several co-branded credit cards, eligibility for the cards (including the bonuses) is independent.

You’re not eligible for the bonus on this card if you currently have it, or if you’ve received a new cardmember bonus on this exact card in the past 24 months. However, you are eligible if you have any other Chase United card, including another business card.

Chase’s standard credit card application policies apply. This includes the 5/24 rule, though anecdotally it appears that this is no longer consistently being enforced.

Eligibility is unrelated to other United cards

Why the United Business Card is worth it

The United Business Card has a $150 annual fee, while offering a variety of perks that will offset that on an ongoing basis, including:

  • A first checked bag free for the card member and one companion when the ticket is purchased with the card
  • Two United Club passes annually, which will automatically be electronically deposited in your MileagePlus account
  • Priority boarding on United flights
  • 25% savings on inflight purchases in the form of statement credits, including for food, drinks, and Wi-Fi
  • A $125 annual United travel credit, when you make at least five United flight travel-related purchases per year, each totaling at least $100
  • 5,000 MileagePlus anniversary bonus miles, assuming you have this card in conjunction with a personal Chase and United card, like The New United℠ Explorer Card (review)
  • Eligibility for upgrades on award tickets as a MileagePlus elite member (you’d otherwise only receive these on tickets purchased with cash)
  • Valuable travel protection, including trip delay and lost luggage protection, plus primary rental car coverage
  • The ability to earn Premier Qualifying Points (PQPs), which count toward status — earn one PQP per $20 spent, up to 4,000 PQPs per calendar year

The value of this card very much checks out if you fly United with any frequency, and there are lots of good uses of MileagePlus miles.

Bottom line

The United Business Card is a rewarding entry level business card that offers valuable perks, from priority services, to travel protection, to a couple of United Club passes. At the moment, the card is offering an excellent welcome offer, making it the best time to apply. If you’ve been considering picking up this card, now is the time to do so.

You forgot about the United Hotels $100 discount which covers the AF.

OK, may not fully cover the AF. Looks like I had a grandfathered $95 AF for this year, but AF is now $150.
