Save On JSX Flights With Amex Offers (Targeted)

5

The Amex Offers program has just rolled out a great new targeted offer for the purchase of JSX flights, which could be worth considering for anyone planning travel on this unique US airline.

Save $100 on a JSX itinerary

With a new targeted Amex Offers deal, you can earn a $100 statement credit when you spend $500 or more with JSX by October 27, 2023.

Spend $500+ with JSX, get $100 back

First for those not familiar, JSX is an airline that operates 30-seat regional jets in a more comfortable configuration, flying from private terminals. The airline offers free drinks and snacks, a convenient arrival and departure experience, and free Wi-Fi, so it’s a popular option for the markets in which it operates.

There are some terms to be aware of:

  • The flight needs to be booked directly through the JSX website or app
  • The flight needs to originate in the United States and be charged in USD
  • While you need to book by October 27, 2023, it’s okay if you travel on subsequent dates
  • You can spend the $500 across one or more transactions to qualify for this offer

It’s possible that there’s also a version of the offer for 10,000 bonus Membership Rewards points if spending $500+. If so, I’d definitely prefer that offer, since I value Amex points at 1.7 cents each, so those points would be worth $170 to me.

Save on a JSX flight with Amex Offers

Bottom line

There’s a new targeted Amex Offers deal for $100 back when you spend $500+ on a JSX purchase. If you’re planning travel on JSX, this has the potential to be a great deal.

Were you targeted for this Amex Offer, and if so, do you plan on taking advantage of it?

JSX has one class of service. Does it code as I/J for ticketing purposes? If yes, it should qualify for the Amex Business Platinum airfare rebate. Separately, is United a part owner of JSX? Thought I heard that a person could earn United miles on JSX flights at a reduced rate (but not redeem).

Ooh that's a really interesting question. I looked at my past JSX ticket and payment and couldn't find a fare class anywhere on the booking. Might be worth calling Amex.

Interestingly, you can earn United miles on JSX flights, and those booked directly with JSX are based on distance and fare class ... so I'd be curious if anyone can find the fare class with their bookings!

Ben, would love to see you take advantage of this offer and review JSX! I've been curious about it for a while now, but unfortunately its never overlapped with my plans.

@ emag -- Stay tuned, I have plans to review some domestic experiences I haven't done yet (specifically, JSX, Breeze, and Aero). :-)

Love this - JSX is great! IMO, the flight to Napa/Concord represents one of the best ways to access Napa. Saves a ton of time relative to other Bay Area airports, and prices were comparable to other airlines (and were much less than flights into Santa Rosa). Highly recommend!
