There are some great ways to take advantage of this promotion, like cheap first class fares from San Francisco to San Diego or Portland.

For example, factoring in the 20% discount, the one-way first class fare between San Francisco and Portland is $162:

If you haven’t yet signed up for the “Loyalty Made Me Do It” promotion, my friend and colleague Mac made me aware of that promotion and this 20% off promotion as well, so if you’d like to sign up for the promotion feel free to use his referral link. When you sign up through his link you’ll earn 500 bonus points upon enrolling, and an additional 2,500-7,500 bonus points after your first flight.

  1. @alvin

I’ve flown them. They are very nice by domestic FC standards. They will blow out any legacy carrier with the exception of a legacy carrier’s PS-style routes. Obviously it is not a lie flat seat but it is a very comfortable lounger. I really appreciated the customizabity of the service, the idea you can get anything on the menu. It’s very underrated and I am surprised it hasn’t push the legacies to catch up over the years, but I guess that is the difference between protecting a premium cabin, including prem Y, and opening it up to elites for “free” upgrades

  2. Does anyone know when the 500 bonus points for joining usually posts? I joined using a referral a few days ago and haven’t seen the points post yet.
