I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far, and a good start to 2024! The aviation industry sure isn't off to a good start this year, between the Japan Airlines A350 accident at Tokyo Haneda Airport, plus an Alaska 737 MAX experiencing a rapid depressurization. Hopefully that's not reflective of how the rest of the year goes.
On the points & travel front, this week World of Hyatt's program changes were implemented, Alaska Mileage Plan's elite status changes kicked in, ITA Airways put flights to Toronto on sale, Air Serbia revealed it would expand its long haul fleet, and more.
