Anonymous GuestI was booked to fly LH 1st class JFK-FRA-CDG only to find out the day of the flight that the JFK-FRA leg was canceled. I called LH and they told me I was booked on an AF flight departing 5 minutes earlier than the original flight. “Is it first class” I asked? “No sorry business class”.
I was a tiny disappointed and was thinking to ask for a partial miles refund when I logged in on the AF website with my new reservation only to find out they were mistaken…I’m booked in First Class!! On a A380!! Two firsts for me!
The experience was GREAT nothing like trying a top-tier airline first class for the first time 🙂
Now the luck wasn’t over…I earned 16,000 AF miles for the trip despite being an award ticket…
