    Hi Ben

I have been following OMAAT for around 12 months now and I am a big fan of the trip reports. You have the best job in the world which I would love to do!

I recently travelled LHR-EWR-LHR with British Airways. First class outbound and business on the return. Having not travelled first before I wish that I had paid attention to your reviews as I agree it felt more like business to me. This was my third long haul trip with BA and apart from the fantastic 787 on my trip home none of my experiences have been brilliant.

Which leads me on to my question. I am looking to travel to the USA next July and wondered if you have any recommendations. Most likely I will be visiting San Francisco and Seattle with my better half. I live in Birmingham UK so not a huge amount of long haul choice for me hence usually travelling from LHR. I wonder which airline you would recommend for a great business class experience and of course a good deal. Is there a good time to look for sales etc? I am happy to add sectors to my journey as I used to be a flight attendant and adore flying. I have seen that BA offer huge savings if my journey with them begins in somewhere like Dublin. This could of course be an option but I would like to try one of the U.S carriers as they seem to have made great improvements. I appreciate I have asked for a lot of assistance but any tips or aircraft/airline recommendations would be great.

    Keep up the stellar work.
