SQ New Suites Awful

SQ New Suites Awful

Just completed my first new Suites flight on SQ 221 new A380 from SIN – SYD and found the new cabin design and use of space a total failure and misstep by the airline. Reviews are being way too kind to SQ. I had high hopes, but by the end of the flight I was exhausted after laying on that hard pull down narrow bed and constantly having to adjust that swivel seat to do whatever it was I needed to do. Even the big TV (that sits BEHIND the seat) is impossible to watch without adjusting its position and the seat position, Whatever company SQ paid for this psychotic new design should be fired. I encourage Lucky and others to sound the alarm bell with honest reviews and not give SQ a pass on this awful new Suites product, I will avoid the A380 SQ like the plague (and I love the A380 normally) and stick to the more “normal” 777-300ER long haul First in SQ. What a shame – they actually allocated a nice amount of usable space but have totally failed in the design, functionality and implementation. Even the Suite doors are a pain to use, and the flight attendants were running into themselves due to location of their galley and single aisle design.

I feel like Lucky echo’s a lot of your sentiment and did not give Singapore a free pass…

It didn’t look very good to me either and as per Ricky I think lucky mentioned a few of those things.

Ironically if you paid $500 for a hotel room and you got the new sq suite you’d be mortified.
