QR A359 seat map oddity
I booked an itinerary on QR IAD-DOH-CMB using AA miles some time ago. That’s a great tip by the way…only 70K in business class. The first leg is the 77W Q suites. The second leg was originally scheduled to also be the 77W, but it changed at some point. The itinerary now shows an A350-900 as the aircraft. But when I went to check on my seat is shows 2-2-2 config. So I am baffled as the A359 should be 1-2-1. The 2-2-2 seems to be an A333 config. Any idea what might be going on?
QR has a couple of A359s leased from LATAM, which indeed feature a 2-2-2 configuration in J. I believe the seats are identical to those LA have on their own A359s.
thanks. After some digging I discovered that to be the case. I guess it was supposed to be a short term lease, but 3 years later they’re still using them but don’t seem to be interested in advertising that fact. I’m hoping it changes again by the time I travel. Going from Q suites to 2-2-2 is quite a downgrade
