Microwave use

Microwave use

  1. Geordan New Member

Good day. I have been googling this for a while and cannot seem to find an answer…
Is there any airline that offers passenger use of a microwave in first class? Long story short, I have chronic shoulder and neck pain and find a warmed up “bean-bag” type compress to work wonders….

    Thank you.

Welcome @Geordan – I’ve not seen one nor do I recall reading about anyone being able to use one. Perhaps those who fly more than I do can chime in here.

@Geordan I don’t think most (any) planes are equipped with microwaves because of signal interference. You could ask the FA if there is some way to use the ovens or other means but I wouldn’t count on it.

@Geordan — Welcome! In my understanding, most airlines aren’t really equipped for something like that — if they have a microwave it’s designated for liquids only. So I would expect them to say no, unfortunately. 🙁
