LH or SQ To Frankfurt Based On Schedule/Experience?

LH or SQ To Frankfurt Based On Schedule/Experience?

  1. tridentnyc New Member

    Hi!

I’m looking to fly to Edinburgh via Frankfurt over the Thanksgiving break. I was thinking SQ on the outbound and LH on the return to NYC, EWR preferred on the return.

I’d like to experience the Frankfurt FCT on the return of course, so I think it has to be LH on the return. I do wonder about the onboard experience, specifically regarding meal service on the outbound. I’d prefer to have a “true” dinner service than a supper service. Given that desire, would it be better to go LH the whole way, or is SQ’s Frankfurt service a “full” meal service flight.

Also, given that it’s a tough holiday I’m trying to travel on points in premium cabins, do you think I’d have better luck with LH or SQ 14 days out?

    Thanks very much!

    Rob
