JFK Departure Lounge EY?

Currently a OW Sapphire flying to AUH on EY in Y.

Can anyone comment on what/if any lounge am I able to go to?

The one Etihad uses for first and business class passengers is The Lounge, but I don’t think that if you are in economy you will be able to have access to one in that terminal. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but…

Etihad does not recognize OneWorld status as they are not part of OneWorld. You will not be granted into any OneWorld lounges either as you are not flying OneWorld. Etihad uses Wingtips Lounge however which is a private lounge, meaning Priority Pass and Lounge Club members have access if you have either of those.
Even when Etihad’s lounge opens, I do not believe they will grant access to AA Elites

Slightly off topic, but I’m arriving into JFK on EY in F using an AA award ticket, and connecting on home on an AA commuter flight with a 6 hour layover. Will I have access to the Flagship Lounge? The rules mention access for those arriving on other OW airline F tickets, but nothing about other (non-OW) partner F tickets such as EY.

FYI: download the LoungeBuddy app! I can’t even imagine navigating all of the entry and guesting rules without it. You just input your profile, then create each trip and it will tell you every lounge you have access to in an airport, plus show user reviews and photos and what amenities that lounge offers.

I would assume they only give access to international flyers on the OneWorld airlines listed. The ones not listed are not covered by their OneWorld lounge sharing program.
