First Class passengers on SQ cannot choose their amenity kits

First Class passengers on SQ cannot choose their amenity kits

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi,

I tried to contact Krisflyer support via email to request 2 female amenity kits for my wife and I myself on our SQ222 from Sydney to Singapore next week.

    Nevertheless, this is their reply:
“We write in reference to your feedback via Facebook post regarding amenity kit.

We have once again checked with relevant department based on your request.

We apologise that unable to reserve gender specific kit. As advised previously, gender specific kits are only catered for flights departing out of Singapore on availability basis.”

It is ridiculous as they can always stock extra amenity kits and return the unused ones to the company after the trip.

The last time we flew on the same route in March, we were given 2 unisex amenity kits and we did not like them at all.

    Has anyone encountered something similar?

    Vu

I don’t have direct experience but I think you have an uphill battle. Singapore is especially stingy with amenity kits since they seem to feel it’s a nice to have, not a need to have. I believe their business class still has amenity kits on demand, not supplied for the masses.
