Etihad Qs: IAD – AUH (first class), AUH – BLR (business ) and BLR to CCU (business)
Hey Ben!
I am back with Etihad questions!! SO my flight is booked
IAD – AUH (first class)
AUH – BLR (business ) and BLR to CCU (business)
1) Can I get 3 rides – in Washington, and 2 in bangalore since i essentially have a 23 layover and i am staying at a relatives place?
2) I have ~8 hours in Abu Dhabi – What are my options other than the first class lounge? Am I allowed to go outside? Will they provide a hotel (You can see I am an economy class passenger through my questions!)
3) I logged into Etihad site using the record locator and it allows me to see the booking, but i can’t manage seats etc…is that weird? BTW what seats would you suggest for B787 first class). Just me traveling so obviously window!
4) Any other value added services I should know of? The closest thing I have come to premium is, when United gave me a free premium economy upgrade when I asked nicely! lol – And this entire ticket cost me like 13 bucks…I spend more than that on dinner sometimes. the miles surely because of the cc sign ups…you guys are crazy informative…..any hater who tells you any different, you give them my email.
@ Rachit — Hah, sounds like a great redemption, and thanks!
I don’t believe you’d be eligible for car service in Bangalore, though you could certainly ask. You can enter Abu Dhabi if you want to clear customs/immigration, though I probably wouldn’t mess with it on an eight hour connection, personally. I would try the seats again later or call — it seems to be hit and miss lately for some reason.
