Bringing your own tea on First Class Cathay Pacific

Bringing your own tea on First Class Cathay Pacific

So, it’s kind of a weird question and I wonder if anyone knows.

I’m a bit of a foodie (and that’s the understatement of the year) and I love teas, especially Puerh and Liu Bao Tea. I have some very good teas and was wondering if I could bring one onboard and ask them to serve it to me?

Of course, the problem, is that they might not have a gaiwan to serve it with? So I’m guessing I could probably bring that too and ask them to just give me hot water. Would that work?

Anyway, sorry for the weird question…

If you want to make sure they have a gaiwan I would bring it. Otherwise you might have to make do with tea steeped in whatever tea pot they use for service. Other than that most attendants are happy to do whatever you ask of them service wise in first class. I wouldn’t expect any problems.
