Best SFO-LHR business class?

Best SFO-LHR business class?

  1. sfplanespotter New Member

    Hello,
I’m flying with my Dad SFO-LHR in business class next month, and have several options. I’m wondering what you think is the best. Here they are:

Virgin Atlantic A340-600

BA A380 or 747-400

United 777-200 or 747-400
Your thoughts?

Welcome @sfplanespotter – are you paying with miles or with cash? If you’re using miles you’ll be better off with the seat that’s available.

I suspect Virgin would be most people’s first choice.
UA business is not bad if it’s 2-2-2 layout or if you can get the side seats on the 2-4-2 layout.
Ben doesn’t seem to have a high opinion of BA business class.

The tickets are being paid with cash. I myself was leaning towards Virgin. Thanks!

Doesn’t Virgin also fly a 787 on that route?

They do, but unfortunately not on the days we’re flying.
