Air Vents to Asia

Air Vents to Asia

  1. Anonymous Guest

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Manila to meet her family. I have awful sinuses and often when flying have a mix of pressure and/or a terrible feeling like I need more air. I fly domestically every week so air vents are always there and super beneficial to me. This will be my first flight to Asia, I know most cabins don’t have personal air vents. I would like to use AA miles to book Cathay or JAL first class. Both airlines run a 777-300ER on my desired route. I could also use Sky Pesos and fly Korean (777-300ER). Do any offer personal vents? Obviously I can fly Delta and I’d imagine have a vent but I would really like to try the Asian carrier experience if possible. Any assistance is much appreciated.

That’s a pretty specific question and one that I don’t have any personal experience with but let’s bump this to @Lucky or @Tiffany in case they know.

I’m trying to think back, and I don’t think either Cathay or JAL have air vents. Not sure about Korean, but I don’t think they do either.

That being said, I also have horrible ear and sinus issues, and can relate to trying crazy things to make the pain go away. Have you seen an ENT recently? My life is a million times better with the new program I’m on…
