What do you do with your carry-on?

I was just curious what everyone does with their carry-on when they leave the airport on an extended layover? Do you just wheel it around with you all day? Does it depend on the city? I’m trying to plan a long layover in SEA en route to PEK and don’t want to drag my luggage with me as I transit the city.

Pay for luggage storage? http://www.kensbaggage.com/ That’s at SEA and seems cheap enough. I had a long layover in SIN and dropped off my carryon at a storage facility. It was $2

Ken’s Baggage looks like a winner! Thanks @David W, I wasn’t even aware luggage storage was a thing. You learn something new every day!
