    Will the LHR Polaris lounge just be the GF lounge but, bigger? I know that they’re trying to make Polaris lounges like the GF lounge at LHR. My question is: will they keep it?

    Hard to say considering Polaris @ ORD just opened. I think it’s safe to assume that they’ll keep the lounge for sure and will renovate it to bring it in line with the Polaris design language but beyond that, it’s up in the air. I believe there are separate Business and First lounges next to each other so maybe they’ll combine the space and have one giant lounge for Polaris customers

    Polaris is for premium international travel so there is no need for GF lounges. They put the Polaris lounge at ORD where the old GF lounge was at C18 (putting the old GF first lounge out of its misery) Now first is called Polaris First, not Global First. Over time United is phasing first class out so I’m sure all new lounges with replace old GF lounges.
