Interesting Aer Lingus News

Interesting Aer Lingus News

This is a response / important additional statement to Lucky’s post here: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2017/03/22/lax-airline-terminal-changes-2017/

So, while looking at the diagram LAX released (in Lucky’s post and attached below), I saw that Aer Lingus is now located under Terminal B (Tom Bradley.) This surprised me, though, as I heard no mention of this (currently they operate out of Terminal 2.) I asked them on twitter, and got a contradictory response, stating that they are staying in T2 for the foreseeable future. LAX came into my conversation and confirmed what EI said. This goes against the terminal changes diagram and really doesn’t make sense to me. Aer Lingus, owned by IAG which is mainly OW, and a partner with United who is a * airline, is going to be operating out of Terminal 2, one of the new Delta (who is a Sky Team member) terminals. If someone wants to explain this logic / miscommunication, that’d be great!
