Flying Aeroflot in Sept 2017 – worried?
This might be a silly question but one I’d love to get people’s opinions on. My husband (who is French and hold a US green card) and I (US citizen) are flying to Geneva via Moscow in Sept 2017. On the way over theres a 3-4 hr layover but on the return, we land in Moscow at 2am and have to wait until 11am before continuing back to SFO.
Given how…icy shall we say, relations are progressing not just between Russia and the US but France as well, do we have anything to worry about given our long layovers?
Also, on a somewhat unrelated note, I’d love to hear if anyone has experience with Aeroflot comfort class.
Thank you!
The TPG team had a review earlier this year, though I think it’s regular economy class: https://thepointsguy.com/2017/04/review-aeroflot-777-economy/
I wouldn’t worry about your layovers. I understand your concern but I think you’ll be fine.
