Finnair a350

Finnair a350

I was just wondering why Finnair doesn’t fly the a350 to JFK. I know that they are more focused on Asia and that would seem like a logical place to put even more a350s but, JFK seems like it would also be a logical fit for the a350

Curious why you’d think that? My understanding is that the 350 is great long range plane. Would be a little bit of a waste putting it on the JFK run.

Agree with @Gaurav. Finnair’s policy is to grow their Asian marketshare. The US is seasonal for them anyway. Destinations like Chicago only run in the summer. San Fran will be seasonal. JFK is yearly but 1/2 the distance the Asia flights are.

Also, if you don’t mind short flights and just want to experience their A350, I do believe HEL-LHR has the A350 at some point next year (found on google flights)
