Cathay Pacific Initiating Bid for Upgrades

Cathay Pacific Initiating Bid for Upgrades

  1. wilve

Hi all, I stumbled across this post by Cathay Pacific in my Newsfeed:

It seems as though Cathay Pacific is allowing Economy and Premium Economy passengers to bid for upgrades to Premium Economy and Business class, respectively. You have to enter your booking details, which suggests that upgrades are only available for certain fare classes. Furthermore, it doesn’t look like they’re adding the option to bid into First Class.

The only route from America that this is available for is Chicago to Hong Kong.

Anyone heard any more news regarding this? Seems like the kind of thing Lucky posts about.
