Question on using Citi Thank you points for Hyatt stay

Question on using Citi Thank you points for Hyatt stay

  1. Anonymous Guest

If I book a Hyatt stay via Citi Thank you points travel site, do you know if that stay would count towards the Bonus Journeys promotion with double elite nights?

From what I could see about terms and conditions, it has to be a qualified rate, and usually stays booked via third party websites like expedia would not count.

    Thanks

    No.

@Michael M is correct. When you book using TYP you’re essentially booking through a 3rd party. Any changes to the reservation would need to be done via that 3rd party. So not only wouldn’t you get nights that count toward the bonus journey, you probably won’t earn points or receive benefits you’d normally have due to elite status.
