Park Hyatt Maldives

Park Hyatt Maldives

Hi readers! Question for everyone: redeemed 4 nights of stay for Park Hyatt in Maldives first week of February (the 4 nights before Chinese New Year). I wrote them asking for cost of upgrade to the over the water bungalows (from the standard Park Villa), and they noted the following: USD 405++ per villa per night ( Villa Number 38-44), but USD 610++ per villa per night ( Villa number 45-51). During February, I assume it will be rather warm. I’ve never been, so wondering whether you folks think an extra 200 a night is worth being in Villa 45-51 versus 38-44. I took a look through photos online and they all look the same? Thanks!

Claire, have you read Ben’s review of the property? It is at http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/06/06/review-park-hyatt-maldives-park-villa/

It might help with your decision making.
