I am planning a trip to the Maldives for my upcoming anniversary. My wife and I stayed at the four seasons landaa giraavaru for our honeymoon. I have read multiple reviews on the st Regis but I can’t find decent reviews on the four seasons (probably because there aren’t point options) let alone anything that compares the two to each other. I don’t know if I would change anything from our previous trip and thought the hotel was perfect. Now comes the problem, since there are no reviews that mention the two hotels I am stuck between trying a new hotel where I have heard amazing reviews from yourself and others vs staying at the hotel that we thought was perfect but we could be missing out. If it was easy to travel between hotels maybe we would try both but as you know that isn’t practical. I just keep thinking what if we try the st Regis and it’s amazing BUT not as good as the Four Seasons and we end up regretting it. What advice would you give for a situation like this? Do you have an opinion on the four seasons vs the st Regis?

Stick with the Four Seasons. I’ve never been, but I feel like higher end hotels such as these would go above and beyond if you contacted them before your arrival and explain it’s an anniversary trip (and it’s your second visit).

That’s kind of what I was thinking as well.
