Hard Rock Rewards – Las Vegas excluded 🙁
I recently stayed for a few days at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. I registered for Hard Rock Rewards before hand, and booked by hotel stay directly on the Hard Rock website. However, my points did not post after my stay, so I emailed customer support and got this reply:
”Dear Adam,
Thank you for contacting Hard Rock Customer Care and for being a Member of Hard Rock Rewards.
Please note that the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is one of the very few properties which is not owned or operated by Hard Rock International. The benefits of Hard Rock Rewards are available at Participating Locations only and unfortunately, the Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas do not participate in our Rewards program.
For a complete list of Participating Locations, please visit: https://members.hardrock.com/rewards-locations#locations.
Please feel free to contact us again with any further questions.
Kind Regards,”

Needless to say I was very disappointed… does this happen with other chains as well?

Your question has seemed to fall into the deep vaults of the Ask Lucky forum. This will bump your question up hopefully to be answered 🙂
@Adam123 it’s unfortunate but most programs have fine print and disclaimers. If the fact that this particular property does not earn rewards is not well advertised during booking you would have a reasonable case to email them and request that you be credited since you made a good faith booking with the brand and do not expect to be stymied by fine print. If nothing else a courtesy adjustment would be warranted.
