Lucky and Tiffany.. This will be our first and only visit to Dubai! We will be there for 4 nights. We are thinking of the Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa(Starwood) or the Harboor Grand Beach Resort & Spa(Marriott). Does anyone have thoughts on our choices? Thanks mike

Hah, well they’re right next to each other, so in terms of location they’re the same.

Do you have status or points with either? That would influence my opinion.

And what are you hoping to do in Dubai? I don’t find the Marina area particularly convenient, but it depends on your aspirations.

Hi Tiffany.. We have gold with Marriott and no status with Starwood. Used the Starwood points for the flight with Emirates. We plan one day for sights and the other 2 full days for relaxing. Does this help? Thank you very much. Read your trip report with your mom to Dubai.

@Mike k — I would go with the Marriott then! The rooms and grounds look great!
