Why is United raising its prices while American has dropped prices?

Why is United raising its prices while American has dropped prices?

  1. Darren C Diamond

Based on numerous Google Flights searches, United flights on identical itineraries are triple that of American flights.

Is United doing this to get more stimulus money?

Maybe United only wants to carry United employees and medical personnel. Neither group pays for its tickets.
