Which lounges in JFK will we be able to access?

Which lounges in JFK will we be able to access?

The wife and I will be flying home to ORD from SIN in the summer. Due to AA award availability, I was only able to get us to JFK via JAL first class. My plan was to pay for flight to get back to ORD since that shouldn’t be that expensive in economy. Will I be able to access any lounges since technically my inbound flight is premium class but out bound(separate ticket) will be economy? We also do not have any special status unfortunately.

I don’t think you will but if you have Priority Pass you can have dinner at Bobby Van’s Steakhouse there in T8.

Since you have a same day ticket for travel in a premium cabin on a oneworld carrier, you might get lucky and be granted access but its AA, so YMMV? Worth trying.

If you hold onto your boarding pass, and indeed buy a ticket on AA, you shouldn’t have an issue getting into the Admirals Club. The agent at the front wouldn’t know any better that the tickets were booked separately, and even if he/she did, it shouldn’t matter
