Where to credit upcoming Fiji Air flight?

Where to credit upcoming Fiji Air flight?

  1. Luis Diamond

I’ll be flying home from Nadi, Fiji to LAX in a week and have a business class flight booked on a Fiji Airways flight. The flight is marketed by Qantas as it has a QF flight number and I booked it on the Qantas website. Fare class is “I”. Should I credit this flight to AA or Alaska? Will either program earn me bonus miles?

@Luis AS is pretty clear that flights must be marketed and operated by Qantas so you won’t have much luck there. AA is more interesting since it states “Earn AAdvantage miles when you fly on Qantas marketed and operated flights as well as Qantas Airways codeshare flights”. Jetstar is the only listed exception which would seem to qualify a Fiji flight. Maybe someone else has direct experience? @Tiffany @Lucky @David W

I’m not entirely sure myself but AA also has wording that says QF codeshare flights are eligible so I’d credit there and see where it goes. I feel like either program is kinda murky in this situation

thanks guys, AA it is. Looks like I’ll get 125% of miles flown if all goes well.
