When will Oneworld Lounges Open?

When will Oneworld Lounges Open?

I’m having to travel in late August from West Coast of US (Seattle) to Lisbon for work. Hoping to access Lounges in LHR to break up the trip. If not thinking about a non stop to Lisbon out of SFO? Any thoughts on reopening’s?

    Million dollar question right there.

You do have a couple barebones options, but it’s really anyone’s guess what August looks like…

Interesting that Qantas is open in T3 when they are doing close to 0 flights. T5 sounds like a wasteland.

Even weirder is that QF is only flying out of T2 in the meantime, so one would think that would be a pretty considerable reason to close down the lounge…

I have to think that the Qantas lounge being open in T3 is a “Oneworld Thing” – meaning that the participant airlines in Oneworld have decided/agreed the Qantas lounge is the best to open in T3 to serve Oneworld fliers…? Pure speculation on my part, however. Couldnt find any further details on the Qantas website.

Afrer some investigation on QF’s website, they are saying all of their lounges are closed (which makes sense)

I did see that – but my thought was that they were refering to lounges located IN Australia. As with everything travel-related right now, clear as mud. As you say – it does make sense the lounge would be closed.

EDIT: And here it is. Just saw this. The airport is saying lounges are closed.
