What are my rights when AirFrance sells me a ticket based on “incorrect” info on their website?
I booked a round trip flight which included 1 checked bag. A few days later, I check my booking, and notice 0 checked bags were included. I luckily took a screenshot of the flight details, as I shared it with my wife, and it clearly shows 1 x checked luggage.
I spoke to customer service and they deny my booking included a checked bag. I show them the screenshot, and they say this is not proof, and that my fare class doesn’t include bags. Ok, I go back to AirFrance.com , and search for my flight, and low and behold, it shows a bag is included.
They are now claiming that I am on the “OLD” website, and they have since charged their website. If their ‘old” website is still up and running and accepting my money, how is this my problem?
I booked based on certain facts, that are now being denied .. any advice would be great!
