Using Iberia Avios

Using Iberia Avios

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hello. I wanted to make a booking for two friends using my Iberia Avios (flight isn’t available with BA) is third party booking allowed and safe with Iberia Avios, or is there program similar to Korean Air where there not really any third party booking allowed? Thanks

Hello. I wanted to book two of my friends on Iberia flights using my Iberia Avios. (flights are not availble for redemption with BA Avios) Does Iberia allow and is it safe to book third party people using my Avios, or does Iberia only allow redemptions for the account holder (like Korean Air only allows account holder) Thanks for your answers.

Thanks. I just realized that when i said i had Iberia Avios, i was relying on an Amex transfer 1:1, just checked and thats not the case, Whats the best way to get Iberia Avios?

The BA card, SPG, or Chase UR points (also Diners Club if you are one of the rare people who has them).

Thanks but SPG is not instant, Chase UR is not partner with Iberia to transfer points. And lol I’m not one of those rare Diners club memebers, any other ideas?

I believe you can transfer to BA Avios. Then transfer BA Avios to Iberia Avios(if you have an active Iberia account with points). So you may have to make small Iberia avious purchase.

Sorry, missed that part about Iberia but @Rhoman is correct, you can transfer to Iberia Avios via BA Avios as long as you meet the activity requirements.
