Using AA miles
Has BA cut down on the amount of seats allocated to One World Alliance. It is almost impossible to find BA seats using AA miles. Is anyone having this problem as well. Thanks
I’m not aware of any OW seat reduction by BA – if there is one, it may be market-based. If you are US-based, you might try BA flights out of another US hub.

Not at all. For almost every destination I search for in Europe I am pushed towards BA metal to LHR and connecting on, even when AA has direct flights from PHL. I don’t know if BA splits the “surcharges” with AA or what, but AA certainly wants us on BA.
I don’t know if this is applicable to elsewhere in the world or other city pairs (i.e. w/ Qantas, for example, or out of LAX/DFW to EUR. Certainly happens from CLT/PHL). In which region(s) are you searching?
