United Polaris access for transcon business class.

United Polaris access for transcon business class.

    Lucky,

Could you ask the people at United about not giving access to Polaris to transcon business (p.s.) class? I’m considering flights over the next few months between NYC and LAX and while EWR is somewhat more convenient to me, I really like the Flagship lounge experience at JFK and LAX. (I especially like the option of an “arrivals lounge” that I get with AA.) United seems to compete on price, but, for some reason, they don’t want to treat their transcon premium flyers as well as AA.

    Thanks,
    Highgamma

EWR’s Polaris lounge isnt open yet, but is opening in the next couple of weeks. UA p.s. transcon customers already receive access to the United Club at Newark.

Given that EWR is a huge hub for UA (as are ORD and SFO, which have/will have Polaris lounges) they may be restricting access only to international premium customers to prevent overcrowding.
