United Award Rules

I Have bought 150k united miles and am planning a trip in business class between AKL-SIN and Thai award space in october isn’t good. However Brisbane-SIN on Thai has ALOT more space and I was wondering if I could do AKL-Brisbane-Bangkok-Singapore for the same 30k one way cost with united.

If I can please tell me how in a detailed description thanks

@Kiwis are the best — That should be possible, but United doesn’t actually publish their routing rules. Just call and give the agents the individual segments, and have the computer price it.

You may also want to check the ANA tool for space on Singapore between AKL-SIN. There is often space on that route, but it won’t display on united.com.
