United award booking

United award booking

  1. Yukon New Member

Ok, probably yet another dumb question. But…I am not that familiar with Untied nor Delta. I usually book American or One World partners and feel comfortable booking award miles. For United, are they similar to American whereby I can daisy chain availability for flights with a representative or is it only what I see available online?
    thanks for your help.

    That’s not a dumb question 🙂

You should be able to spoon-feed UA agents flight info for the award you want to book, provided your routing sticks to UA’s rules.

Thank you David W. Here is my issue. I want to fly from Reno to Germany. There is a Denver to Germany flight on Lufthansa. And there is a Reno to Denver flight. But no Reno to Germany flight on the computer my desired day. I would have a 7 hour layover in Denver. This would not be a problem for the United rep to make into one ticket?

That shouldnt be a problem, assuming you find a United SAVER award – economy is 12.5k, business (domestic first) is 25k – for Reno to Denver and then Lufthansa saver for Denver to Frankfurt, just call United to book.

I found a Reno to Los Angeles to Frankfurt flight on UA’s website, so it’s definitely possible.
