UA No Show Question
I purchased a multi-flight itinerary with UA miles. The middle flight of the trip was ‘free’ using the excursionist perk. However, I will now not be able to make the final flight. Canceling means a $125 fee, since it was using a non elite member’s points. Since I don’t care about getting the miles redeposited, are there any consequences to being a no-show? I would rather inform UA that the seats will be available, but not willing to pay $125 to cancel it.
I’d just no-show. As long as you don’t make a habit of this it won’t be an issue.
