Ua award

Ua award

I am looking for flights back from Sydney to Chicago in early January for my family. My wife is booked with our infant but myself and two kids need flights back. We are flexible. I am mostly looking for ua or partner awards as have tons of ultimate rewards. I saw a seat on the same flight back but not sure whether booking one seat at a time is the best way to do it now that change fees are through the roof. Any thoughts ? Thanks!!!

To find the most space search by segment and try 1, 2, and then 3 seats under how many seats d you want.

January is also prime time and awards will be tough. Furthermore, UA’s new award search engine is finicky and weird. If you dont mind flying separately, maybe try to find award space on Korean via Seoul, if its not a peak date. Or something via Singapore Airlines? Good luck!

Singapore could be a good option — you might be able to get one at Saver and the other two at Standard, and then waitlist for the lower priced awards.
