turbulence

    Hi,

Am flying to Bangkok via Dubai from Dublin in First next week. I do fly at least once a month normally on short haul flights but am reading a lot about bad turbulence on arrival and departure from Dubai. Is this true? Am terrified and don’t know whether to go or not as it is for 1 month and I dread having to worry about the return trip for a month.

    Thanks
    Anne

I haven’t experienced worse turbulence going in or out of Dubai than any other airport. I suppose if you were landing during a storm it could be bumpy, but that’s an issue anywhere.
