SYD-LAX First on AA or QF?

SYD-LAX First on AA or QF?

Which airline should one take for better first class? I have flown Qantas a number of times but never have flown AA. Should i try it?

Ben flew SYD-LAX on AA last year and reviewed it here: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/07/05/american-first-class-review/

At the end he says he’s choose AA over Qantas. I’ve flown Qantas DFW-SYD on the A380 which was 1-1-1 seating. The B777-300ER Ben flew is 1-2-1 seating. Personally I preferred the Qantas hard product but in reading his review it looks like he got terrific service and that the availability of wi-fi (not a factor for me) put it over the top for him. So it sounds like they’re pretty close and it may come down to your personal preferences.

If you’ve flown Qantas, I’d definitely give AA a shot.
