SPG Amex stay credits not posting
I’ve had SPG AmEx (personal) card for a few years and have always gotten the 2 stay/5 night credits posted. I got the SPG Business AmEx at the beginning of the year, and the stay/night credits have never posted. First they said it would take a few weeks, then a couple billing cycles, etc. After several week of back and forth with both AmEx and SPG, neither was able to figure out how to make it post (even when they talked to each other on the phone while I was on the call). So they escalated to SPG internal research.
Finally, 2 months after asking the questions, I got an official answer back that says “The two stays and five nights can only be earned for one credit card on SPG accounts. The credit card that was linked first will receive the credits and the system will not allow a second set to post as credit was already posted.”
Has anyone else had this issue?
Im not sure thats correct since Lucky has mentioned several times that he gets the night/stay credits to his account from each card. I’d call again
Yeah, I get mine from both the personal and business Amex, and have for years. That’s weird.
