Anonymous GuestDo you happen to know how long the Gold status will last if you spend $30,000 on this credit card? The card benefits say “at least 12 months”. I am wondering if I hit the spend threshold in March 2018 will the gold status last until March 2019 or will it be the SPG benefit year where it will last until January 2020? AMEX was no help when I called to ask them.

My guess is it would be the same as regular earned status. Hit the threshold in March 2018 and status will be granted for the remainder of 2018, and carryover to 2019.
