Something I don’t understand about this dude’s story

Something I don’t understand about this dude’s story

He repeatedly says he used his Global Entry card at CBP after arriving at IAD from LHR. I was under the impression that a Global Entry card may only be used in this manner for land or sea entry, not international air travel. So either I’m operating under a mistaken assumption or his story doesn’t entirely add up.

Global Entry is valid for air entry. A passport card is not valid for air entry.

CBP agents were rude AF though. Disgusting.

This appears to be yet another case of US CBP agents being assholes and throwing their weight around
