Sky club refusal for Amex platinum at jfk

Sky club refusal for Amex platinum at jfk

    Lucky-

Long time reader here. I am flying out of jfk tonight (terminal 4). I live in atlanta so an a delta loyalist/elite.

I just walked across the terminal to the lounge and got denied entry bc It is too full. At the same time, they were letting paid memberships and delta one in. I have probably been to a sky club 200 times in my life and never had this happen.

I asked to see the policy in writing and was told it was “local policy” and not in writing.

    Is this legit?

    Thanks

    Jonathan

Haven’t heard of it before but I’m not surprised that’s how they would prioritize entry. I would complain to both DL and AX.
