SIA Solitaire

SIA Solitaire

    Dear Ben,

I am very unhappy when SIA decided to raise the bar for Solitaire reQUALIFICATION to 50,000 points which will only last 3 years compared to 25,000 points which would have lasted for 5 years under the old programme.

I know you wrote an article on this Solitaire issue and I thought then that I would be able to qualify under the old Solitaire scheme, as I was very very close to hitting the mark to qualify for the old scheme. So, very upset that I am, I have decided to spend more of me and my firm’s Business/First Class expenses on other Star Alliance airlines.

I am based in Singapore and I travel to the region like Jakarta, Bangkok, HCM, HK, Tokyo almost every week on TG, GA and NH. I travel a lot to UK, Europe and US too!

So your advise please, which other Frequent Flyer would give me a speedier pace towards the highest award, as good as Solitaire (if not better) and stretching for longer years and better perks?

Your thoughts please. FYI – I have Miles and More, Thai Silk and All Nippon FF cards.

    Hello,

I don’t think many of us are familiar with Singapore’s PPS Club and Solitaire elite level, since it seems to be exclusively for those flying on paid tickets in Singapore premium cabins? What sort of benefits do you receive?

You might get better advice from a site based in your region. Have you checked out the other Boarding Area pages (https://boardingarea.com/our-bloggers/) ??
