SIA business or first
Is it worth spending extra points and flying non direct to Singapore in first rather than business? When it’s non suites? Cheers!
Meh. First is almost always better than business, but SQ business is very very very good. If you can get direct saver flights in business that seems like a good option.
I’m guessing that you are based out of SFO so, I’d definitely take Business over First because of how watered-down the supper service is. The a350 flight leaves at 9:30 AM and is obviously much shorter. Definitely would take the nonstop.
Thanks guys! Yes managed to get a saver seat on the direct flight which I’m pretty happy about! Waitlisted for the nonstop first class flights
You mean waitlisted on the one stop to HKG. I’d go with the A350 myself. New plane, new seats. Better time too. 9AM as @Hugh B says, gets in 6PM. Versus midnight departure and 7AM arrival in HK, than another AM flight getting to SIN at noon. Better meals on the A350 flight, The midnight 777 flight is supper service. Limited.
