Senior manager at Qatar Airways

Senior manager at Qatar Airways

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Ben

I booked Qatar flights a year in advance to fly in May/June 2020. I used Qmiles to upgrade. I have since booked additional connecting flights on other airlines. Qatar Airways have now changed the times of my flights, and none of my connecting flights can now be used. I am emailing and chatting to Qatar Airways via Facebook Messenger, but I am getting nowhere. I am pulling my hair out.

I saw one of your articles about the strange move of a senior executive from Emirates to Qatar Airways. In that article you mentioned that you knew some people at Qatar Airways. Do you or anyone on this forum have the email details of a senior manager or someone with authority at Qatar Airways please.

    Thank you.

Pete, sorry your plans are getting messed around! You can usually find good senior contacts via Eliot at https://www.elliott.org/company-contacts/qatar-airways/

With that said, Qatar may be somewhat limited in this situation. They are only responsible to get you from point A to point B, if that’s what you booked. If the times changed significantly, you should be able to make some changes to your reservation and have change fees waived, but when you speak to someone from Customer Service, you should base your argument on the Qatar flight being changed, not the fact that your other booking is affected.
