Rude Airline Attendants
My husband and I are both executive platinum on AA on a 8 hr flight to Maui.
With that we get a free snack and adult beverage.
I asked for a snack and gave the lady my executive platinum card and she tried to
run it as a credit card. I stopped her and said ‘thats not a cc’. She informed me that
she needed a cc. I then told her were exec plat, and she said well my machine
would say that you are and it doesn’t.
I gave her my id and the card again which the names match. She asked another employee to
see her machine. She told me if I was exec plat the machine it would show a green light by my
name. Fine but my names match isn’t that enough? She proceeded to tell me that I could
have gotten the exec plat card from somebody. ARGH
She wanted to see my ticket which was stowed away in my carry on. So after making this
huge seen which was totally embarrassing and waking my husband we had to wait for her to help
the passenger behind us to get my ticket out. Which finally proved to her that I was exec plat.
I was not happy at all 8 hrs with an attendant who is totally rude, not enjoyable at all.
I meant to ask her name to make a complaint and after all that I didn’t dare talk to her
again. My fault I should have because I’m also a shareholder and I hate to see airline employees
treat passengers horribly.
I’m sure you have many customers who’ve experienced rude employees. With over 800,000 miles
I have some weird/rude experiences.
