Reviews on JAL Business Class Sky Suite seat

Reviews on JAL Business Class Sky Suite seat

  1. Lorrie New Member

I’ve started searching for point award travel in business class from LAX to BKK and Japan Airlines seems to come up the most in terms of availability in the Alaska Air program.

I’ve checked out the business class for JAL online, and for this route, it’d be the “Sky Suite,” which looks rather dated and unappealing. Anyone ever flown this Sky Suite before and have any first hand information to share?

    Thanks!

JAL has multiple seat products, all called the Sky Suite. What route are you referring to? With JAL and departing LAX, you’re connecting in either Narita or Osaka.

LAX-KIX is operated by JAL’s 787 with angle flat business class seats. I’d try to avoid this.

LAX-NRT is operated by their 77W and their business class is the Apex seat. Ben’s review of the product is here: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/07/10/review-japan-airlines-business-class-777/
It’s a pretty decent hard product and definitely a great option for the flight. If you’re picking JAL, try and get seats on this flight.

NRT/KIX-BKK flights are currently operated by 777s and 787s with their angle flat product.
